This can only be a good thing... Might we see manuals back in Lamborghinis and sporting Audis?

I think at most you would see an available manual on certain Audi RS cars but probably not.

You’re probably not going to see manuals in 911's in a few years...

Manuals? No.

800 “unique” models from 1 single car? Probably.

I’d bet it’s more configuration choices and all of them costing extra. Think Porsche configuration for every single VAG product available.

Imagine a GTI. A lot of people complain about not getting the plaid seats on anything but the base model. Well Porsche have just the solution now! Plaid seat option on the autobahn for only $2500 more. This even saves you weight by making it manually adjustable only. Want red seatbelts that match the red in the plaid? Extra $750 for the front seats. $250 for the rear seats!

Porsche won’t be in control of VW.

Wishful thinking, I know, but GT3 sales are making the case...

Yes, and yes.

The GT3 makes the case for having the odd premium priced special edition with a manual... for some brands.

But I don’t think it will happen for Lamborghini.  Audi is more likely... but not very likely.

Their organizational hierarchy has a proprietary authority structure.

In the 911? I can’t see that happening any time soon. I mean, maybe by 2040 or something. 20% manual currently - seems like that would stay pretty constant.

No, new Lambo buyers dont drive their cars.  They just brag about the numbers.  And the numbers say paddles are better.

Lamborghini has gotten too serious lately. This will not help that problem lol

Hopefully, if there is enough of a cry for them like Porsche fans have done.

However, very limited production exotics are highly unlikely, especially for the Bugatti. In regards to Lambo, i f they can make one for their V10 model, you may get it on the Audi one as well. If not, then no on both.

Absolutely, though I thought the GT3 touring edition (Porsches middle finger to 911R speculators) is available in more numbers?

If you mean the R8, they need the Lambo it’s based off of as well to get it or they are unlikely to get it either.
